Mia Medical is an authorized international health-tourism intermediary. Medical procedures are performed by licensed partner physicians at authorized healthcare facilities.
Information we process
Depending on your interaction, this may include contact details, communication preferences, account and authentication data, health information, medical images, consultation answers, bookings, travel details, consent records, and technical website data.
Why and on what basis
Information is used to respond to enquiries, provide secure accounts, coordinate requested services, support safety and aftercare, meet legal duties, protect systems, and measure consented website performance. The applicable legal basis depends on the data and service.
Medical data and photos
Medical information receives additional protection. Photos are collected only after authentication, stored privately, and shared with authorized staff and the identified treating provider as needed for assessment and care.
Recipients and international transfers
Relevant information may be shared with selected partner doctors, authorized facilities, travel-support providers, and contracted technology processors. Transfer notices and safeguards must be finalized for the production entity and vendors.
Retention and your rights
Records are retained only for defined legal, clinical coordination, security, and operational periods. Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.
