Plan before treatment

Arrange time away from work, suitable transport, help at home, prescribed supplies, and a clear route to the treating team.

The first days

Rest, activity, wound or treatment-site care, washing, diet, and medication differ by procedure. Follow the written discharge instructions you receive.

Returning to routine

Return to work, exercise, driving, flying, and normal grooming only within the milestones set by your treating clinician.

Follow-up and concerns

Keep scheduled check-ins and share clear updates or photographs through the secure patient portal. Do not wait for a routine check if symptoms are worsening.

Seek urgent medical help for breathing difficulty, chest pain, heavy bleeding, fainting, or rapidly worsening symptoms.
